KEM 5:

I started writing in 1996, not really thinking it would lead to much. Today, nearly a decade later, writing has allowed me to travel the world and experience things I might have never been able to do otherwise. Everything in this world has a purpose. Additionally, I believe that this is what my life was predestined to do, for better or worse. I still enjoy painting as much as I did on the first day I started but now it's more about the experience. Over the years and having gone through all the motions and BS that is attributed with writing, I have arrived at the point where I'm content with what I'm doing. I always try to push myself to the fullest potential, progressing myself forward, and painting simply for the love of it. Fame is fleeting and painting is only temporary, however the experiences we gather through life are long lasting. I want to say thanks to all the people that I ever painted with, my crews, friends and family. I also feel it appropriate to give a big shout out to Toronto, one of my favorite cities in the world and to all those people who host the most you know who you are......many thanks.
