I started to get into graff when I was in elementary school. My brothers both dabbled with the artform, but neither really took it to the next level. Once they fell off, I continued to be interested and so one of my brother's friends took me under his wing. Ever since then, Falk n Lace have been a tandem. I really started to paint hard with Falk and Dyme in roughly 2000, when I was put down in the RE crew. Falk got me started, gave me my first can and taught me everything I know. I bite him and he bites me. We prefer using the same colours, same backgrounds and encorporating characters in order to make every piece a miniature production. Hell, we even tag "falkNlace" most of the time anyways. Two graff artists, one name. We just feel that no matter how small or odd the medium, dope productions can be executed. In terms of the graffiti culture, the RE crew (including myself) tend to stay in the shadows. There's a lot of bullshit that goes on with graff in any city, and so we try and avoid it because we just plain and simple want to paint. I want to get my name up, improve my skill and fulfill my passion for the artform. I keep social life and graffiti life somewhat separated.
